Mr. Cooper-McKenzie completed his Master of Business Administration at University of Southern Queensland (USQ) in 2008 and currently holds positions with the University of the Sunshine Coast (USC) and The Department of Justice and Attorney General - Queensland Government.

Bruce first joined USC as a Sessional Academic in 2013 holding roles of Course Coordinator and Senior Tutor at USC. He has delivered Management content in both undergraduate and postgraduate courses at USC.

Bruce’s postgraduate research interests include strategic management challenges for the recorded music industry and the implications of digitization for record labels, artists and consumers. He has previously worked in the retail banking sector, small enterprise management and the non-for-profit sector including management roles with Endeavour Foundation.
