Dr Gordon Eckardt joined the School of Business at the University of the Sunshine Coast in February 2016.
Gordon brings a wealth of academic leadership experience gained over 11 years in academia. He has held various academic positions in German and Australian universities along with a variety of activities in research, training and consulting of renowned international operating companies. Prior to academia he had over 10 years industry experience in various senior management roles as well as in the position of a founder and chief executive of his own business.
Gordon has secured numerous research and development grants and has published numerous books and articles. His research specialisation has been in the area of corporate entrepreneurship as well as in the application of business simulations in a teaching and training environment. The development and transmission of holistic approaches for training and development in the context of entrepreneurial orientation is part of his passion.
