Dr Jane Craig has taught strategic management, global strategic management and negotiations in Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Executive MBA programs at the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM) and the MGSM in Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore.
Jane has published on issues relating to managing IT and competing globally in refereed journals, including Sloan Management Review, and had papers accepted at major international conferences including ICIS, Academy of Management and Strategic Management Society Conference, as well as receiving Best Papers Awards at the Academy of Management and ANZAAM. Citations number over 250. She has also co-authored a top-selling management text and chapters in the Karpin Report on management education (Enterprising Nation).
Jane’s background includes a number of managerial and research roles. These include being COO of a listed biotechnology company pre-and post-IPO, Director of the Executive MBA program and a full-time faculty member at the AGSM. She has also worked as a consultant with senior managers on developing and executing strategy in established and entrepreneurial organisations in Australia and overseas, and held board positions for a telecommunications and biotechnology company. Previous positions included being a management consultant based in Chicago and a diplomat and policy analyst. In addition, Jane has been a judge for the Sunshine Coast Business Women's Network awards and a national and regional judge for the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.
