Dr Nestor Gregorio joined the Tropical Forests and People Research Centre at the University of the Sunshine Coast in August 2016 in the role of Research Fellow.
He is responsible for the implementation research projects in the Philippines under the Tropical Forests and People Research Centre of USC. He leads research activities associated with developing and testing different forest and landscape restoration (FLR) models, and undertaking research activities related to policy development promoting the success of community-based FLR. He is also involved in another research project of the Tropical Forests and People Research Centre, USC in Papua New Guinea, mainly providing technical support to PNG researchers in establishing field trials on tree establishment designs.
