Dr Felicity Lynch was educated in Tasmania and completed a PhD in Immunology at the John Curtin School of Medical Research, Australian National University in 1989. Following completion of her PhD, Felicity undertook postdoctoral studies in Immunology at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda MD, USA. After some time out of the work force, Felicity resumed her Science career by joining a Medical Writing Company. With a renewed interest in science, Felicity took up sessional teaching at USC in 2009 and was appointed to a lecturing position in 2016.

Felicity works as a full time teaching academic. She enjoys teaching and guiding students to develop independent study skills and reach their full potential. Her role in teaching first, second and third year courses enables her to be involved in the development of students during their entire degree program at USC.
