Penny Taylor comes from a background as an experienced mental health practitioner. Having been a practitioner on the Sunshine Coast, Penny has strong local connections and networks with local occupational therapists and associated disciplines.
Penny is the Practice Education Coordinator for the USC Occupational Therapy Program. She provides practice education coordination services for all years of the program, from 1st year experiential learning to 4th year immersion learning. Services include placement development, support and coordination. She provides support for both students and practice educators.
Penny is the primary contact for all occupational therapy student placements in the Sunshine Coast region. She plays an active role in the University Occupational Therapy Practice Education Network Queensland (UOTPENQ), which fosters collaboration between Queensland universities in the coordination of student placements.
