Accredited Practising Dietitian, Tania Wiesmayr-Freeman has over 20 years of experience as a Dietitian, Educator and Health Professional.
Tania currently job-shares the role of Individual Case Management Placement for fourth year Dietetic students. Tania is passionate about enhancing the placement experience for students and supervisors.
Her professional career has seen her work in a wide range of management, leadership and senior health professional roles. Tania's experience includes leading broad scale change across a health service region particularly with regard to nutrition and dietetics, allied health workforce development and clinical incident management.
Tania’s love of teaching, supervision and mentoring has been a common feature. Over the years she has been involved as a State-wide trainer for: Peer Group Supervision, Calderdale Framework, Root Cause Analysis, Human Error and Patient Safety Analysis, Manchester Patient Safety Framework and Evidence Based Medicine.
The broad work experience and formal education/training has resulted in Tania having a wide-range of knowledge across many health professional disciplines including medicine, nursing, allied health, management and administration.
