Sample catering menus


USC Venues has catering options to suit every budget and event.

On booking, the team will discuss the individual needs of your event and advise you on an appropriate menu. Below are sample menus only. Many other options are also available for 2018 including dinner, finger food and bar packages.

The University reserves the right to alter the menu due to seasonal availability. Prices quoted should be used as a guide only excluding GST and may change due to individual requirements. Prices quoted are for catering only and room hire is additional.

Morning and afternoon tea

Morning and afternoon teas from A$7-12 per person. Rates below are excluding GST.

  • #1: A$7.00 per person, including biscuits
  • #2: A$10.00 per person, including sweets and / or fruit
  • #3: A$10.00 per person, including scones with jam and cream
  • #4: A$12.00 per person, VIP selections eg macarons, petit fours and fruit skewers
  • #5: A$12.00 per person, healthier options with fruit

All morning and afternoon teas include tea, coffee and iced water. Juice is additional on request.

Minimum A$88 per delivery. Not available on weekends and public holidays.

Conference day package

A$41.40-$47.40 per person + GST

Arrival tea and coffee (Eco cups)

Morning tea

  • Muffins and Danish pastries 
  • Fruit platter 
  • Tea, percolated coffee and iced water

Afternoon tea

  • A selection of slices, cakes and gourmet biscuits
  • Tea, percolated coffee and iced water

Lunch: Package 1  (30-50 people)

  • Selection of wraps and assorted rolls all with gourmet and vegetarian fillings
  • Fresh sliced fruit platter and cheeses
  • Teas, percolated coffee and iced water

Lunch: Package 2  (minimum 50 people and available at the Innovation Centre)

  • Choose 1-2 main options 
  • Choose 1 vegetarian option
  • Selection of bread rolls
  • Australian cheese platter or a sweet option 
  • Specialty teas, percolated coffee, iced water and juices

Minimum number for catering is 30 people per day. Minimum number for catering on weekends and public holidays is 50 people per day. Seven working days notice is required, with final numbers including special diets. Special dietary requests and late orders attract a surcharge on all menus. Minimum A$88 per delivery. Menus are seasonal and may be altered at the University's discretion. Refer to the Catering application for other terms and conditions.
