Mobile Health Clinic


The Mobile Health Clinic vehicle is a long wheeled base Mercedes Sprinter, purposely built for USC clinical academics and their students to provide outreach services to the Sunshine Coast region and beyond.

The vehicle was built in Brisbane and features two hydraulic, push out sides enabling maximum interior work space. Using smart technology, the vehicle has inbuilt video recording capabilities.

The vehicle will host a variety of clinics and is used for USC marketing events also.

Completely funded by Health Workforce Australia, as an Australian Government initiative, this vehicle and trailer’s value is approximately A$300,000.

The vehicle was officially launched on April 21, 2015 by the Honourable Mal Brough, Federal Member for Fisher.
