Those keen to take a closer look at how the University of the Sunshine Coast can boost their careers are invited to a special information event at USC on Wednesday 9 May.

USC’s free Mid-year Entry Information Evening from 5-6.30pm will give prospective students the chance to talk one-on-one with academic, administration and support staff about how to start studying at the University in July.

The event will outline the wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees available at USC, and how starting a degree mid-year can give you a distinct edge over others.

USC’s External Relations Manager Kylie Russell said the information evening was for anyone who was considering studying next semester, including those who have already applied.

“You will be able to find out about alternative entry pathways, studying overseas as part of your degree, the costs involved in studying and the financial support that is available,” she said.

Ms Russell said people could attend the information event anytime between 5pm and 6.30pm. Campus tours will be held every 15 minutes and a 20-minute Preparing for Study seminar will begin at 6pm.

“At the Preparing for Study seminar, you can get practical tips for preparing for your first semester at uni, gain insight into what university life is like, and discover what support services are available,” she said.

Bookings are essential for the Mid-year Entry Information by emailing> or phoning (07) 5456 5000.

Information about the event is available on the USC website at>.
