A University of the Sunshine Coast postgraduate student in Creative Arts will hold his first major gallery exhibition at the Caloundra Regional Art Gallery from 18 January to 3 March.
Dean Jacobs, a Beerwah illustrator and author who graduated from USC in 2006 with a degree in Computer-Based Art and Design, said he was delighted to have the opportunity to show his innovative style.
Mr Jacobs, who is now studying a Doctor of Creative Arts at USC and teaching Creative Writing, described his artistic style as Digital Hyperrealistic Illustration.
“The exhibition is called Double-Take because it will make you look twice,” he said.
The opening night is Friday 18 January from 6pm. For more information, go to www.deanjacobsillustration.com.
