A total of 1,700 students have graduated from the University of the Sunshine Coast this week at 11 ceremonies held from 11-13 April. Videos of each of the ceremonies can be viewed online on the USC website under the heading 'Watch live'.
The ceremonies have included the presentation of medals to high-achieving students, and of honorary awards to those who have contributed to the success of USC and to the Sunshine Coast region.
Among the recipients were philanthropists Roy and Nola Thompson who became Honorary Doctors of USC at the noon ceremony today, and former USC Chancellor John Dobson who was presented with an Honorary Doctorate on Wednesday morning.
The University also celebrated its 20,000th graduate this week, when Caloundra’s Renee Barber crossed the stage to receive her Bachelor of Social Work on Thursday evening.
