Options event for prospective students at USC Gympie

21 November 2014

People considering studying at the University of the Sunshine Coast’s Gympie campus have been invited to attend a special Options Evening on Wednesday 3 December.

The free event will be held at the campus on Cartwright Road, Gympie, from 5.15pm and will include last-minute advice about applying to study, information sessions and a tour of the state-of-the-art facilities.

USC Gympie Manager Graham Young said the evening would help those who were unsure if university study was for them, or if they were keen to learn what studying for a degree is like.

“Visitors will be able to get one-on-one answers to their questions and learn more about what USC Gympie has on offer through short, interactive and informative sessions on Nursing, Education, Business, Psychology and Social Sciences,” he said.

USC Gympie staff will offer tips on pathways to university – including our Tertiary Preparation Pathway program – scholarships, fees, financial assistance and support services.

“We anticipate strong demand for information and details around the new Psychology and Social Sciences study offerings, which will be available at USC Gympie in 2015.”

All attendees are asked to register via (07) 54565800 or email: gympie@usc.edu.au.
