Hundreds attend first USC Caboolture Open Day

About 400 people attended the University of the Sunshine Coast’s first Open Day at its new Caboolture campus on Sunday 5 August.

Prospective students and their families inspected the campus, attended information sessions and learnt more about study programs by chatting one-on-one with USC academics.

Forums involving USC students, graduates and staff highlighted the study, career, networking and social opportunities available at the University, and outlined how people can best match study programs with their interests, strengths and goals.

Available programs at USC Caboolture for 2019 include a suite of degrees in Business, Creative Industries, Education, Nursing Science and Midwifery, and a tertiary bridging program called Tertiary Preparation Pathway.

The Open Day also provided information on the extensive range of study programs at USC’s main campus at Sippy Downs and the degrees planned for the USC Moreton Bay campus when it opens at Petrie in 2020.

A scale model of the planned campus at Petrie attracted plenty of attention during the day.
