Leah Mooney has extensive legal advisory and case management experience relating to cyber security, data breach and privacy laws through her role as special counsel in privacy and cyber law at MinterEllison (2010 to 2018). A recognised expert in the emerging area of cyber security and privacy law, Leah's practice ranges from front-end cyber resilience planning through to advising on the strategic management of legal and regulatory issues arising from a data breach or other cyber event.

Leah has experience providing keynote addresses and education on cyber and privacy law, as well as evidential capture and reporting. She has also acted in large-scale litigation arising from technology contract disputes.
