This course examines how early education can contribute to sustainable living & learning. Inspired by the textbook & initiatives & projects that connect children to nature, community & environments, you consider strategies for working collaboratively with children, family & community towards connectedness, wellbeing & sustainability. Positioning children as active informed citizens, you explore current research & EYLF, QKLG, NQS and ACARA emphases in relation to sustainability, place, environment & interconnection to identify the rich contributions children can make to sustainable futures.
