This online course will introduce the digital forensics process including seizure, acquisition, analysis, and reporting. You will learn how to identify and seize digital evidence and become familiar with the tools, techniques, and procedures employed by digital forensics examiners to acquire forensic images and protect and preserve electronically stored information. You will also learn how information is stored on electronic media and how to examine an acquired forensic image, some of the challenges that might be faced in analysing that data, and how they might be overcome.
