You will acquire an in-depth understanding of five renowned actor-training methodologies that interrogate the question of “what makes a great actor or performer?” and learn to use these in your artistic practice. Drawing from both Realistic and Physical Theatre traditions, this course entails intensive actor training and focuses on skills-development and industry-standard professional practice routines. You will develop an extensive understanding of the history, rationale and philosophies of actor-training methodologies through reading and research tasks to develop an integrated approach to practice and theory.
