DRA702 Devising

Breadcrumbs

This course builds upon previous studies undertaken to apply acting and performance skills in the context of creating new work. The ability to generate original material through innovative devising techniques is increasingly a key skill required for gaining employment in the performing arts industry. You will cover professional modes of working collaboratively, dramaturgical knowledge relevant to devising, and key reflective strategies. Performance outcomes will include a solo-work for Short and Sweet and a collaboratively-devised site-specific piece for the Anywhere Theatre Festival.
