In this course you will learn about children’s continued learning as they transition from prior to school settings to school. You will examine the challenges children experience with readiness for school and extend your knowledge of socially constructed learning contexts to support the necessary social adjustments required by children when they commence school. You will develop skills to work in partnership with families in the transition process. The general capabilities listed in ACARA is a focus and you will gain knowledge and skill to include the general capabilities in your planning.
