In this course you will demonstrate mastery of knowledge and understanding of learning and teaching in English for students in Years 7-10. You will evaluate contemporary theoretical perspectives informing pedagogy in this discipline in these year levels and synthesise this knowledge in the organisation and planning of lessons utilising the Australian Curriculum English and the three strands; Language, Literature and Literacy. You will adapt learning activities for individuals using differentiation to meet the specific learning needs of a broad range of students from different social, cultural and language contexts.
