The sustainable operation and renewal of pavements for roads, mining, airports, industrial warehousing and multi-modal freight terminals is important in terms of safety, serviceability and structural adequacy. This phase depends on the quality of preceding phases, and affects the maintenance phase of the ‘pavement’ life cycle. In this professional course, you apply the principles and practices of operation and renewal to large or vital roads and their assets. You solve complex technical problems to meet international standards, and communicate to specialist and non-specialist audiences.
