HLT600 Indigenous Wellbeing Foundations

This course will develop specialised knowledgeable, creative and critical thinking, and ethical capabilities through an Indigenous wellbeing lens, framed by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples knowledges and perspectives. It focuses on skills of information literacy, communication and collaboration through development of professional cultural capabilities such as respect for Indigenous knowledge and perspectives, determinants of Indigenous health and wellbeing, reflection for health practitioners, quality and safety in Indigenous care, and advocacy for Indigenous health and wellbeing. This course will replace SCS701 as a required course and address program learning outcomes.
