Helping a person to meet their daily needs and activities is central to quality nursing practice. You will be introduced to person focussed care principles, foundation nursing knowledge and skills to provide this care. You will learn a range of communication and assessment practices as you problem solve clinical case scenarios in workshops, clinical practice sessions and simulations. You will be supported in hands on practice, and learn how to review and reflect on your learning in order to develop action plans for ongoing learning.
