This course aims to introduce you to the major health behaviour theories and information relevant to the concepts of illness, disease, health and wellness. It seeks to equip you with the language and foundation knowledge required for an understanding of risk and protective determinants (factors) related to health behaviours. The course content and learning activities will help you understand how health behaviours develop and change, including the relationship between various social, cultural and behavioural determinants (factors) that can influence health and wellbeing during a person's life.
