In this course you will learn fundamental principles in physics, including measurement, kinematics in one and two dimensions, projectile motion, forces and Newton's Laws of Motion, work and energy, uniform circular motion and rotational kinematics and dynamics and electromagnetism. The topics selected are essential for advanced-level studies in physics and engineering. Your understanding of the theory will be enhanced by a selection of practical exercises designed to reinforce your appreciation of a variety of physical systems.
Students lacking proficiency in physics are strongly encouraged to enrol in ENB123 Enabling Mathematics for Physics prior to the commencement of Sem 2.
