This course builds on the programming knowledge from SGD213 and covers a variety of advanced topics that you could choose to specialise in as a programmer within the games industry. The core elements cover skills required of all gameplay programmers, and your chosen speciality will give you exposure to an array of deeper topics. During the course you will learn to tackle unfamiliar problems in a consistent fashion to gain new knowledge in a “spike” format. A “spike” report will be written in a format which allows for effective and efficient communication of the new knowledge to peers.
