A Bachelor of Arts is all about choice. If you have a broad range of interests, or want to study an area that does not have its own degree, a Bachelor of Arts is for you. This flexible program allows you to develop specialist knowledge in at least two areas, where your chosen specialisations will shape your career options. Choose from studies in areas such as creative writing, geography, history, drama and languages.
- Only a full-time option is available to international students on a Student visa. Online programs are not available to Student visa holders.

You will develop your skills in areas such as critical, creative, innovative and lateral thinking; analysis and synthesis; information management; and communication. Add work integrated learning courses to gain industry experience and contacts that could help you land your dream job. Take advantage of opportunities to live and study overseas while earning credit towards your degree through the Study Overseas program.
There are also options to complete the Bachelor of Arts as a dual degree with Science, Business, Law or Education. The program gives you an excellent platform to launch yourself into a postgraduate degree in education or into honours studies to deepen your skills and knowledge in your chosen field.

Program requirements
In order to graduate you must:
- Successfully complete 288 units as outlined in the Program Structure
- Complete no more than 10 introductory level (100 coded) courses
- You must select and register your compulsory major(s)/minor(s) as soon as possible
Program notes
- Completing this program within the specified (full-time) duration is based on studying 48 unit points per semester (normally 4 courses) and following the recommended study sequence
- Most courses are valued at 12 units unless otherwise specified
- Courses within this program are assessed using a variety of assessment methods which may include essays, seminar presentations, reports, in-class tests and examinations
- As part of your USC program, you may apply to Study Overseas to undertake courses with an overseas higher education provider
