Semester 1, 2018

The Headstart Orientation session is highly recommended for all commencing Headstart students.

Headstart students studying at USC Sunshine Coast campus will have their Orientation session on Friday 19 January. Headstart students studying at other USC campuses will have their Orientation session during the main Orientation day at your local campus. You'll be emailed an invitation a few weeks prior to the date. View Orientation dates for your campus.

Orientation is the first step in your USC journey and an action packed program is planned to ensure that you have the best start. Orientation gives you the opportunity to get acquainted with the campus and get a feel for university life. You'll also get to meet other students studying the same course as you.

You will attend a welcome and information session, collect your student ID card, go on a campus tour, attend library and IT sessions, and learn about the academic and support services available at USC. Please bring photo ID or letter of introduction from your school.

To collect your USC student ID card on the day follow the instructions to submit a photo for your ID card.

If you have any questions about Orientation, you can search for answers to commonly asked questions in askUSC, or contact the Student Central team.

If you have difficulties accessing any Orientation activities or information due to a disability, learning disorder, injury or illness, please let our Disability Services team know so they can assist you.
