Respond to your offer - UG (B, AD, Dip), TPP

The first step is to respond to your offer. You will need to log in to USC Central.

Domestic students:

You must respond to your offer as soon as possible, even if you are deferring or declining it. If you don't respond before the start of your intended study period, your offer may lapse.

Use your USC log in details sent in your offer email and select your response option below for instructions to:

Accept your offer
  • Log in to USC Central using your username and password provided in your offer email. Follow the prompts to accept your offer.

  • QTAC Applicants only - you must also respond directly to QTAC by the date specified. Log in to QTAC's Application Services using the email address and password that you used to create your QTAC account. If you have missed the QTAC response date, it may be possible to reinstate your offer, contact Student Central.
Defer your offer

Most Undergraduate* and TPP students can defer their place for up to two years.

  • Log in to USC Central using your username and password provided in your offer email. Follow the prompts to defer your offer and select the semester you plan on commencing your studies.

  • QTAC Applicants only - must also respond directly to QTAC. Log in to QTAC's Application Services using the email address and password that you used to create your QTAC account.

Once you have deferred on USC Central and through QTAC you do not need to complete any further steps at this time. We will contact you to advise you on how to take up your deferred place in the future. Make sure your contact details are up to date in USC Central.

*Note: Students studying the following programs are not eligible to defer:

  • Bachelor of Business (Honours)
  • Bachelor of Midwifery (Honours)
  • Bachelor of Nursing (Honours)
  • Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) (Honours)
Decline your offer
  • Decline your offer via USC Central using the username and password provided in your offer email. Follow the prompts to decline your offer before the study period commences.

  • QTAC Applicants must also respond directly to QTAC by the date specified. Log in to QTAC's Application Services using the email address and password that you used to create your QTAC account.
International students and students taking up a deferred place:

You do not need to respond to your offer and can move straight to the next step.

You can log in to USC Central using the username and password provided to you after you accepted your offer to study at USC.
