We are looking for someone who could become a commercially-savvy journalist able to write in Plain English about WHS matters, HR management and employment law. So if you have done a pure law or business degree, or a degree in WHS or HR, and you would like to be a reporter, then we’d love to hear from you. We’re also happy to hear from communications graduates too provided they have studied or had direct experience in WHS, HR management or employment law.
As this job involves a lot of reporting on developments in the law, we will look favourably on anyone who has studied law in any way. You could have studied a full law degree, an elective in one of our other target degrees, a diploma at TAFE or even HSC Legal Studies.
As our products are aimed at an audience of commercial people then it’s important to us that you have an affinity or empathy with the interests of the business community. You should also have developed a strong work ethic through being in paid employment. So please tell us about the bar, restaurant, supermarket and any other kinds of jobs you may have had.
