Bachelor of Design
If you love art and visual communication, turn your passion into a career with USC’s Bachelor of Design. This multidisciplinary program builds the creative and technical skills you’ll need to work as a graphic designer, multimedia designer, web designer and more – jobs that are expected to increase by 14.5 percent by 2020. You’ll major in Graphic Design, e-Media Design or 3D Design and learn how to connect with people through creative imagery while you develop your professional portfolio.
Bachelor of Design and Marketing
With a Bachelor of Design and Marketing you can work in multimedia and design roles across a range of creative industries, including advertising, publishing, digital marketing and more. You’ll develop a valuable mix of skills in visual communication, strategic marketing, research and business development. Specialise in Graphic Design or e-Media Design and build your portfolio with a design internship or professional project.
Study creative writing
Bachelor of Creative Writing
In USC’s Bachelor of Creative Writing you’ll work with award-winning authors to learn a variety of writing genres and styles. Learn the skills you need to write fiction and non-fiction and to work in the publishing, editing, media or film industries. Specialise in writing for children, screenwriting or industry practice, or expand your career options with electives in public relations, marketing, journalism, media studies or design.
Bachelor of Laws / Bachelor of Creative Writing
Set yourself apart in the creative industries with a combined Bachelor of Laws / Bachelor of Creative Writing. You’ll develop high-level written communication, research and analytical thinking skills along with the ability to find answers to legal problems, prepare advice and present legal arguments. When you graduate you’ll be eligible to work as a legal practitioner, or to take on communication roles in government, media or commerce.

Bachelor of Design and Communication
Combine your passions for written and visual communication. With the Bachelor of Design and Communication, you’ll learn how to design and produce visual and written content for print and online media, including emerging digital platforms. You’ll major in Graphic Design or e-Media Design and can choose to broaden your skillset by specialising in journalism, advertising or communication campaigns.
Bachelor of Serious Games
If you believe games have the power to change the world, this is the program for you. In USC’s ground-breaking Bachelor of Serious Games you’ll use game technology to deliver creative solutions in health, education, politics and more. You’ll learn about interactive narrative and game design by developing and producing your own games, and can expand your job horizons with a minor in Entrepreneurship, Economics or Marketing.
Bachelor of Arts
The Bachelor of Arts is a flexible program that lets you explore your creative passions across a range of study areas. Choose to specialise in at least two areas, including Australian studies, drama, screen and media studies, creative writing, literature, languages and more. You’ll develop strong skills in research, written communication and critical and creative thinking – skills you’ll need to succeed in the modern workplace.
Bachelor of Laws / Bachelor of Arts
Looking for a degree that provides a solid foundation for almost any industry? With a combined Bachelor of Laws / Bachelor of Arts you’ll develop practical legal skills and the expertise required to work as a legal practitioner. At the same time, you’ll build strong written communication and critical thinking skills with specialist study in your choice of Arts majors – including languages, literature, history and more.
