You’ll study in nationally-recognised sport and exercise science laboratory facilities – we’re the first Australian university to receive laboratory accreditation under the National Sport Science Quality Assurance program at the Australian Institute of Sport.

Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Science

If your goal is to become a gym instructor after one year of study, then our Diploma in Sport and Fitness is for you.
Bachelor of Nutrition/Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics/Master of Sports Nutrition by Research
Our hands-on programs are designed to get you involved with food, understand the science behind food and the way the human body uses it. More and more HPSA’s and teams are taking the science of Nutrition and Dietetics and using them as the basic building blocks of success, to control maximise food intake – this is where you, as a qualified Nutritionists can add real value. At USC you can choose between the 1.5 years full-time (3 years part-time) Master of Sport Nutrition by Research, the 3 years full-time (or equivalent part-time) Bachelor of Nutrition or combine the study of Dietetic for a 4 year full time (or equivalent part-time) Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics. These studies teach the skills and tools needed for a career working alongside the top sports teams and athletes world-wide.
Bachelor of Business (Tourism, Leisure and Event Management)/ Bachelor of Business (Marketing)
Before a ball is kicked or a starting pistol fired it takes dedicated and experienced business professionals to successfully negotiate sponsorship contracts, organise venues, liaise with multiple stakeholders and a thousand other crucial activities. Designed to prepare you for these demand and more of the sports industry, our Bachelor of Business (Tourism, Leisure and Event Management) and Bachelor of Business (Marketing) programs are assist you to develop a solid foundation upon which you enhance your knowledge of the business and consumer needs before, during and after a game is played or match hosted.
And with a shift in focus to sustainable sporting events and tourism, employers are looking for a new breed of marketers and tourism, leisure and event managers.

Bachelor of Education (Secondary) / Bachelor of Recreation and Outdoor Environmental Studies
If you’re interested in teaching outdoor education, our Bachelor of Education (Secondary) / Bachelor of Recreation and Outdoor Environmental Studies prepares you to teach Years 7-12 in health and physical education and another teaching area of your choice. Or you could pursue a career in outdoor/environmental education centres, adventure tourism and ecotourism.
