Bob Sellars Nambour 76 Rotary Scholarship

Scholarship applications are now closed.

The Rotary Club of Nambour 76 seeks to support tertiary education for local Sunshine Coast students who demonstrate academic potential but face financial and other barriers to completing an undergraduate degree.

The Bob Sellars Nambour 76 Rotary Scholarship honours the memory of Rotarian Bob Sellars, who made a significant contribution to the local community throughout his life. The scholarship will support one (1) eligible UniSC student from the Nambour area with financial assistance valued at $5,000 for their commencing year of study. The scholarship aims to offset living and study related costs, giving the recipient the freedom to focus on their education without having to work excessive hours, removing some of the barriers that may hinder academic achievement.

The recipient will receive $5,000 as regular fortnightly payments for their first year of study. The scholarship will be paid in 8 instalments each semester for up to 2 semesters.

Please Note:  This scholarship is offered on a yearly basis through funds provided by an external donor. If funding is not available in any given year, the scholarship will not be awarded.
