"I applied for Environmental Science at USC and deferred. I began working as an outdoor instructor and over the course of two gap years, I came to realise that the course that I had previously deferred was exactly what I wanted to do. I took up my deferred spot and haven’t looked back since.
"The thought of being able to combine my previous outdoors experience with the environmental science degree to undertake research expeditions excites me. It would be an interesting, challenging and rewarding field to work in.
"For me, the decision making process involved with choosing a uni pathway was a lengthy one, but choosing USC is one of the best decisions I have made. I'm also a USC student ambassador, and the chance to share my experience to help others with their university pathway is very exciting."
