Dr Natassia Goode is a Senior Ergonomist in the Ergonomics and Human Factors Unit at WorkSafe Victoria, and an Adjunct Research Fellow with the Centre for Human Factors and Sociotechnical Systems at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Natassia's PhD and honours research in Psychology investigated how people learn about complex systems.
Over the last 9 years, her work has focused on applying systems thinking to fundamentally change the way that organisations manage safety, and reduce incidents. She has worked with several industries to design more effective incident reporting and investigation systems, including healthcare, construction and outdoor education. Her role at WSV involves translating research into practice by providing technical support to multiple divisions within WSV including Return to Work, Psychosocial Operations, Programs and Projects and the General Inspectorate.
