Australian Technology Network (ATN) is a collaborative venture across the five universities that form the ATN (Curtin, QUT, RMIT, UniSA, UTS). All the universities in this network share a heritage of working with industry to provide their postgraduate research students with the sorts of skills that employers require of graduates.

What?

The eGrad School is a virtual graduate school providing support in the development of generic professional skills in Higher Degree Research students so they enter the workplace employer, innovation and industry ready. They provide:

  • Flexible, moderated, online modules
  • Research development and employability/transferrable skills
  • Self-select modules based on skills gaps
  • Cross-disciplinary discussions
  • Networking with peers from around Australia
How?
  • Modules run for 5 weeks online
  • 3-5 hours a week per module required
  • Choose a time that suits you to participate
  • Highly qualified moderators facilitate interaction
  • Successful participants receive a certificate of completion

USC students may register to participate and should include this in their Research Plan Progress Review report and budget planning, approved by their principal supervisor.

The cost for 2018 is $450 per module.

Students may choose any module from any pathway according to their needs.
