The Transcultural and Indigenous Pedagogies Research Group brings together a critical mass of researchers whose work targets effective pedagogies for migrant, refugee, international and Indigenous students across a range of educational sectors, including higher education, international education, P-12 and early childhood education.
About the Transcultural and Indigenous Pedagogies Research Group
Transcultural pedagogies recognise that cultural knowledges and identities are not static, fixed or singular, allowing a space to explore individual and collective experiences. Transcultural pedagogies recognise cultural difference as a creative force that enables the facilitation of culturally responsive new knowledge and respectful policies and practices.
