Dr Katherine (Kadi) Warner is the Regional Senior Expert for Environment and Climate Change for the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and in this role has guided the successful integration of climate change into its development programs. Prior to this, Kadi was appointed as the Regional Senior Expert, Environment and Climate Change with the World Resources Institute where she was seconded to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and posted in the Netherlands embassy in Kampala, Uganda. Kadi is a recognised expert in natural resource management, with in-depth experience in community forestry and community-based natural resource management, wetlands, and integrated watershed management.

Qualifications

PhD (Ecological Anthropology), University of Hawaii; Certificate of Population Studies, Population Institute, East West Center; Bachelor of Arts (Anthropology), University of Hawaii.
