Research Fellow

Anna McKinlay is a consulting researcher with a background in architecture, urban design, and sustainability. Her field of expertise is housing preference and the influence of government policy and industry. She is currently working on a number of projects involving societal change toward more equitable built environments and better dwellings.

Qualifications

PhD (Urban Design and  Regional Planning), University of the Sunshine Coast, 2020; Graduate Certificate in Sustainability, University of the Sunshine Coast, 2013; Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Built Environment, Queensland University of Technology, 1997.

• The social-spatial interconnection at housing and urban scales.
• Affordable and sustainable housing
• Utilisation rates for dwelling
• Integrating nature and human-dominated environments.
• Governance based on equitable sharing of resources for present and future generations
