The daughter of a former Geelong AFL player and younger sister of a current Australian Diamond, Kelsey Browne's sporting pedigree is undeniable.
An Australian representative at 17/U, 19/U and 21/U levels, the former Melbourne Vixens midcourter's crowning glory came in 2017 at Lightning however.
An opportunity to join the fledgling franchise was too good to pass up and the affable pocket rocket soon carved out a name for herself as a crowd favourite with her high-octane style of play.
An MVP performance in Sunshine Coast's Round 3 victory against Adelaide (51-42) highlighted just how talented the Geelong product is and it wasn't long before Browne had sewn up the Lightning Wing Attack bib as her own.
A regular starting side position and an abundance of court-time coupled with her willingness to learn from her more experienced teammates contributed to Browne's rapid rise in Suncorp Super Netball. The 25-year-old revelled in the opportunities handed to her on the big stage and was handed another contract for the 2018 campaign.
The diminutive dynamo is also a talented musician who performed at the Club's Gala Awards dinner.
