My name is Maddi McLeod and I'm a 3rd year Occupational Therapy student (Photo; Left). I am also a softballer and have recently been selected in the U23 Queensland Softball team for 2019, we will be competing at Nationals this July 7th-13th.

The HPSA program has been extremely helpful in helping me organise my timetable around my training's for the upcoming nationals and ensuring that I have support to continue my studies and compete in my sport.

My tip for future athletes/ HPSA would be to be proactive in letting your lectures and tutors know that you are a HPSA athlete at the beginning of the semester and let them know early if you need any extra assistance.
