Denby Stokes (2012) Surf Lifesaving


One of the first contracted athletes in the very first women’s ironwoman series, Denby has had an outstanding career in surf sports. Her amazing surf skills have enabled her to win multiple coveted titles including several Kellogg’s Nutri Grain races, seven Australian Lifesaving medals and numerous international medals.

The two time Australian representative was also awarded the Kellogg’s Nutri Grain Ironwoman ‘Competitor of the Series’ in 1999.

Denby proved she was too good and too strong in 2000 when she took out the World Board Championship and International Ironwoman Championship, confirming her amazing ironwoman ability.
