Surf Lifesaving (January 1994)

Jack has dedicated and devoted almost 60 years of service to surf lifesaving. He joined Met Caloundra in 1936 at the age of 25 and kept the swimmers at Kings Beach safe until the 1950s, then moved into administration.

Known as “Mr Surf Lifesaving”, Jack served as Sunshine Coast branch president and State SLSA president and made a significant contribution at national and international level. Saving lives has been his life.
