IAAF-standard athletics track

The international standard athletics track is free to use for USC students, and is also available to hire for training groups, events, school carnivals, and public use.

Located at the Sippy Downs campus, the facility has eight- and ten-lane running tracks, and equipment for hurdles, steeplechase, javelin, shot-put, discus, hammer-throw, high jump, long jump, triple jump, pole vault and disabled throw events.

A range of track equipment is available for hire and must be requested at time of booking the athletics track.

The track surface is the Sandwich System (EPDM and PU composite). Lighting, toilets and meeting room facilities are available.

Bookings are essential for group training and athletics carnivals.

Athletics carnivals

The track can be hired for carnivals and club meets. Full carnival hire charges include, access to power and kiosk with hot and cold water.
