Surfing (January 2014)

Josh honed his skills riding waves at the points of Noosa Heads and then emerged as one of Australia’s best-ever longboard surfers. He competed on the professional circuit for 15 years, winning a host of internationally acclaimed events.

Most notably, Josh won the men's world longboard title in 2006, defeating Hawaii's Ned Snow in the final at Costa Rica. Recognised as one of the most influential surfers of his time, Josh also claimed six Australian longboard titles. He was also the inaugural Australian stand-up paddle surfing champion and a multiple winner at the Noosa Festival of Surfing.
