Dr Nestor Gregorio joined the Tropical Forests and People Research Centre at UniSC in August 2016 in the role of Research Fellow.
He is responsible for the implementation research projects in the Philippines under the Tropical Forests and People Research Centre of UniSC. He leads research activities associated with developing and testing different forest and landscape restoration (FLR) models, and undertaking research activities related to policy development promoting the success of community-based FLR. He is also involved in another research project of the Tropical Forests and People Research Centre, UniSC in Papua New Guinea, mainly providing technical support to PNG researchers in establishing field trials on tree establishment designs.
Dr Nestor Gregorio is a forester with research interest on forest and landscape restoration. He is responsible for the implementation ACIAR funded FLR research projects in the Philippines. He leads research activities focusing on developing and testing different FLR models, and undertaking research activities related to policy development promoting the success of people-based forest restoration.
