Profile

Dr Graham Bowrey PhD, CPA has over ten years’ experience teaching in the discipline of accounting at both the post graduate and undergraduate levels. Graham has published a number of articles in high quality peer reviewed journals and has presented research papers at various international conferences. In addition, Graham has held a number of leadership positions in academia, including Director of Compliance and Quality with ATMC and Head of Discipline (Accounting) and Head of Students (Sub-dean) with the University of Wollongong.

Graham’s areas of research interest include Public Sector Accounting and Reporting; Accounting History; and Social and Environmental Accounting. Prior to joining academia Graham spent fifteen years working in both private sector and public sector organisations, including Toyota Australia, the Federal Government’s Department of Finance and Administration and the CSIRO.
