Role
Ava is the Team Leader for Sport, Education, Exercise Science and Allied Health (SEESAH) in Technical Operations. Her team supports the delivery of teaching programs and research activities in the disciplines of sport and exercise science, nutrition and dietetics, occupational therapy, and education. She coordinates laboratory technical and administrative services to SEESAH postgraduate teaching and research programs. Ava is the USC Radiation Safety Officer who performs quality assurance and control on the University X-Ray machines. She recently completed her PhD on body composition assessment methods in the School of Health and Sport Sciences (SHSS). Ava was the recipient of the Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) Accredited Exercise Scientist of the Year Award 2016.
Ava's responsibilities include managing and leading a technical operations team to support the delivery of teaching programs and research activities in a range of disciplines.
