Dr Chris Carter

Profile 

Dr Chris Carter is a Senior Lecturer in Screen Media focusing on research in Animation, Games and Visual Effects production. He has a professional background in multimedia production and game design. His most recent research project involved the design and development of a full-body human photogrammetry system for use in a Virtual Production pipeline. He is the author of multiple journal articles, book chapters and conference papers. Before joining USC, Dr Carter held senior leadership positions at QUT, including Head of Discipline (Film, Screen, Animation) and Program Leader (Experimental Creative Practice) in the QUT Creative Lab. He is a member of the TEQSA Register of Experts. And he has Post Graduate teaching qualifications with extensive experience in curriculum development, program coordination and teaching across Animation, Games and Visual Effects.
